Paysbig is seeking a Quick Service Cook 3 to join our fast-paced, high-energy team. You will enforce quality standards, ensure guest satisfaction, and work closely with teammates to deliver superior food products in a casino setting.

Responsibilities include advanced cooking, saucier duties, safe food handling, and assisting with training and inventory management while maintaining high integrity and guest service. Flexibility for shifts is required.

Qualifications

• The ability to demonstrate advanced cooking skills is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. One year of related experience is required.
• The ability to successfully achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days.
• The ability to successfully complete Culinary Academy within 12 months.
• The ability to use basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting using whole numbers and fractions.
• The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
• The ability to interact with guests and team members professionally.
• The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team member must wear all required PPE and work in physically demanding conditions.

Responsabilités

• Perform intermediate to advanced food preparation and cooking duties (braising, blackening, searing, noodles, grill or wok).
• Act as a saucier to prepare sauces, stews, and made-to-order sautéed items.
• Use and clean kitchen surfaces and equipment safely (ovens, grills, fryers, etc.).
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized working environment and collaborate with Stewards.
• Assist in training other culinary team members.
• Assist in storing and rotating inventories and perform opening/closing duties.
• Work in other kitchens/venues as needed to gain knowledge and assist with advanced prep.
• Comply with departmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
