Job summary

Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics (BEAM) in Los Angeles is seeking a Saturday Math Teaching Assistant. You will supervise students, assist faculty, and foster a supportive learning environment in a year-round Saturday program focused on advanced mathematics for middle and high school students.

Be a role model, lead activities, and help students explore topics from number theory to programming. Must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the US; CPT/OPT allowed for eligible students.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical ability and reliability.
• Authorized to work in the US; international students eligible with CPT/OPT.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students through enrichment courses in advanced mathematics.
• Assist faculty and staff with classroom and program operations.
• Run social and community activities for middle school students.
• Build a positive social environment for middle and high school students.
• Support one-on-one and small-group math tutoring.
