Qualifications

• Ability to supervise, motivate, and support at-risk students in their personal and academic growth.
• Must be available Saturdays 8:00 - 10:30 a.m. on scheduled Saturday School sessions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 35 students per Academic Support Program session.
• Take attendance.
• Ensure productive use of time and credit for the session.
• Log student accomplishments as evidence of productivity.
• Monitor academic progress and provide academic support.
• Review yearly attendance with students.
• Coach students to communicate needs, goals, and challenges to teachers and staff.
• Provide support and guidance to students needing additional assistance.
• Assist in collecting and accessing student assignments online.
• Enforce behavior as outlined in the WTA Student Handbook.
• Provide quarterly updates to administration on program effectiveness.
