Job summary
Fugro USA is seeking a Satellite Positioning Quality Assurance Innovation Engineer to help ensure robust testing of satellite positioning software. You will collaborate with QA managers and developers to implement, execute, and document test scenarios and results, driving high-quality product releases.
The role emphasizes automated testing, defect tracking, and continuous improvement of testing processes, with opportunities to work across geotechnical and geoscience services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- 0+ years of programming skills in languages like C/C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) is desired.
- Experience with integration testing is desired.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with test automation is desired.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance efforts for satellite positioning software and testing processes.
- Collaborate with QA Manager and developers to design, execute, and document test scenarios.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results, reporting test status.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to drive resolutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies at Fugro.
