Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Satellite Policy Manager for Starlink Mobile to drive regulatory strategy and policy development. The role focuses on telecommunications regulations, spectrum, and satellite policy, with engagement across regulators and international bodies.

Willingness to travel 30-40% and onsite work in Washington, DC are required. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in policy or tech, strong knowledge of wireless/satellite policy, and fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in policy or at a technology company.
• Experience in telecommunications policy or related regulatory roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory strategy and policy development end to end, towards successful outcomes on accelerated timelines.
• Advocate to optimize satellite and telecom regulatory frameworks in alignment with SpaceX objectives.
• Develop spectrum policies to further SpaceX and Starlink's objectives.
• Represent SpaceX in international fora, regulatory agencies, industry forums, and regional organizations.
• Develop advocacy pieces with technical leads to progress SpaceX policy positions.
• Provide forward-looking policy strategy based on spectrum, business, and regulatory issues.
