Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Satellite Policy Manager (Starlink Mobile) based in Washington, DC. You will drive regulatory and policy strategy for a groundbreaking mobile satellite service, engaging with international regulators and governments to align licensing and spectrum positions with SpaceX objectives.

The role requires strong technical fluency, strategic communication, and the ability to travel ~30–40%. Onsite work in Washington, DC is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of policy or at a technology company experience.
• Fluency in languages beyond English is a plus (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese or other international language).

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory strategy and policy development end to end.
• Advocate to optimize satellite and telecoms regulatory frameworks aligned with SpaceX objectives.
• Develop and advocate spectrum policies supporting Starlink’s global services.
• Represent SpaceX in international fora and with regulators.
• Create advocacy pieces with technical leads to advance policy positions.
• Develop forward-looking strategy on spectrum, business, and regulatory issues.
• Advise Starlink team on policy developments affecting the program.
