Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) engineer to design, simulate, and implement algorithms that keep satellites precisely pointed and stable from concept to orbit.

You will write production C++ flight code, validate with 6-DOF simulations and hardware-in-the-loop testing, and collaborate across avionics, flight software, and test teams to deliver a reliable constellation.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree with 4+ years of quantitative field research.
• Experience developing guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for aerospace systems.
• Experience converting research studies into tangible real-world changes.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze state estimation, attitude determination, and control algorithms for aerospace systems.
• Write production C++ flight code that runs these algorithms on the satellite.
• Develop models, simulations, and on-orbit operations support to ensure safe, reliable performance.
