Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Guidance, Navigation & Control engineer to design algorithms, simulations, and onboard autonomy for satellites. You will move GNC from concept to orbit, write production C++ flight code, and support integration and on-orbit operations with a focus on precise pointing and fleet autonomy.

You will work within the Satellite Attitude Determination and Control team, contributing to architecture, design reviews, and documentation while ensuring

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's with 4+ years of quantitative field research.
• Experience developing GNC algorithms for aerospace systems.
• Strong publication and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze state estimation, attitude determination, and control algorithms.
• Write production C++ flight code that runs GNC algorithms on the satellite.
• Develop and validate models and simulations including 6-DOF and Monte Carlo.
• Support lab integration, test, and on-orbit operations across the full lifecycle.
• Document analyses, results, and architecture decisions clearly.
