Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is recruiting for a Satellite Communications-Technical Staff role in Lexington, MA. The selected candidate will design, analyze, implement, and demonstrate novel communications waveforms and signal processing algorithms within a collaborative team environment.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or an MS with 3+ years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge in wireless communications theory, information theory, and DSP.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or MS with 3+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong background in wireless communications theory, information theory, DSP, estimation and detection, optimization.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C/C++ or equivalent tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, implement, and demonstrate novel communications waveforms and signal processing algorithms.
  • Develop resource allocation schemes and SATCOM system architectures.
  • Collaborate with teams across communications theory, networking, hardware, and SDR.
  • Contribute to DoD policy, requirements, and systems engineering.
