Job summary
SpaceX Texas is seeking a Hardware Test Automation Engineer for satellites (Starlink) to design, build, and automate test systems for payloads, propulsion, and mechanisms, spanning design through qualification. You’ll work on cross-functional automation solutions, develop ground support equipment, and craft interfaces for complex equipment, with weekend/extended hours as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience automating test systems.
- 1+ years of instrumentation, DAQ design, or electronics test experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and implement cross-functional automation solutions to improve test capability, coverage, and safety.
- Design and implement test and ground support equipment (GSE) including fixtures and automated test equipment.
- Create user interfaces to simplify operation of complex machines.
- Produce electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics.
- Provide innovative solutions for unique requirements and challenging installations.
- Perform electrical installation of valves, limit switches, transducers, etc.
