Job summary

BlackSky in Tukwila, WA seeks an Assembly, Integration & Test Technician to support satellite assembly, test, and delivery. You will work on production, gain familiarity with assembly/test procedures, and may travel to launch sites for integration with the launch vehicle.

This is a full-time, office-based role reporting to the Principal Technician. Ideal candidates have hands-on lab experience, knowledge of electrical/mechanical assemblies, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in at least two of the listed areas.
• Ability to work with lab equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies).
• Capable of moderate physical labor and adhering to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly and test operations on satellite production line.
• Assemble and inspect electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Set up and execute functional and performance tests of electronics components and systems.
• Participate in anomaly/failure investigation and resolution.
• Provide feedback on designs and processes; participate in process improvement activities.
• Support other assembly and test activities across the company such as wire harnesses, PCAs, etc.
• Fine-pitch soldering, wire harness assembly and repair, epoxy/adhesive application, and mechanical assembly.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.
