Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking a Systems/Test Engineer at Fort Belvoir, VA, to provide engineering expertise in upgrading and modernizing SATCOM systems for DoD customers.

This role includes performing high-level systems analysis, directing system development phases, and requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 9 years of experience and appropriate educational qualifications.

The expected salary range is $75,000 to $130,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience & Master's degree in related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience & Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of applicable experience & Bachelor's degree in any field.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, and documentation.
• Directs and participates in all phases of system development.
• Applies higher-level business or technical principles to technical problems.
• Develops and maintains earth terminal acceptance and equipment test plans.
• Supports spectrum supportability requirements for satellite terminal and modem equipment.
• Prepares and submits spectrum management data and frequency requests.
