Job summary

RSC2, Inc. in Frederick, MD is seeking a SATCOM Engineer to support Army missions with iDirect hubs and regional nodes. The role requires an active Secret clearance, a 4-year degree in networking or telecommunications, and 4 years of SATCOM experience.

You will configure, manage, and secure satellite networks, travel as needed, and work independently under pressure to ensure mission success. Salary range $88,000–$110,000 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 4 yr degree in networking/telecommunications or applicable work experience
• 4 years of SATCOM experience
• Strong knowledge of iDirect network architecture
• Active Secret clearance
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS

Responsibilities

• Configure GAIT iDirect satellite Hub systems to specifications
• Administer and secure PM Tactical Network iDirect hubs and RHN nodes
• Support terrestrial and satellite-based networks and troubleshoot
• Respond to government documents authorizing GAIT iDirect services
• Monitor performance and diagnose issues in satellite networks
• Provide Tier II support with remote terminal operators
