Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a SATCOM Systems Engineer to shape future SATCOM systems by leading systems engineering efforts across lifecycle to deliver enterprise SATCOM capabilities for a worldwide network. You will translate mission needs into technical specifications and work with customers to evolve solutions.

Qualifications include 4+ years in DoD SATCOM, DoD lifecycle activities, DoDAF knowledge, TS clearance, and a Bachelor’s in Engineering or IT.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DoD end-to-end SATCOM systems engineering and architecture for DISN or SATCOM gateways.
• 4+ years in DoD system lifecycle activities: acquisition, requirements, engineering, design, integration, sustainment.
• Experience leading SATCOM systems with multiple components and subsystems.
• Knowledge of DoD architectures and IP network tech; TS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts to deliver enterprise SATCOM capabilities for a worldwide network.
• Shape future SATCOM systems across acquisition, engineering, sustainment and operations.
• Coordinate design efforts to optimize cost, schedule and performance risks.
• Develop and evolve system architecture diagrams and companion documentation.
