Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Technology Acquisition Specialist and Systems Engineer to join our DoD-focused team in the United States. You will work with DoW acquisition program managers and industry partners to bring cutting-edge SATCOM technologies into existing programs and help oversee SBIR efforts.

Strong communication with government stakeholders and the ability to manage multiple small projects are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting or owning project management for U.S. military acquisitions
• Knowledge of U.S. military acquisition processes, project management, and contract management for system acquisition
• Ability to manage multiple small projects, including interfacing with management personnel, managing contracts, schedules, and progress reports
• Ability to comprehend SATCOM technical requirements and their impact on the warfighter's mission
• Ability to communicate to stakeholders how SATCOM technical solutions meet warfighter needs
• Ability to communicate with government clients, FFRDCs, and contractors to achieve program goals
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian personnel within a DoW environment
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant DoW acquisitions experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DoW program managers and industry partners to develop cutting-edge technology for DoW programs
• Support SBIR oversight and government reviews of SBIR outcomes
• Translate emerging technologies into actionable acquisition strategies for stakeholders
• Communicate acquisition plans and technology implementation strategies to internal and external stakeholders
