Job summary

CesiumAstro seeks a Sales Engineer to lead demonstrations and field deployments of SATCOM terminals. You will be the primary technical interface between customers and CesiumAstro teams, showcasing performance and mission value.

The role requires deep SATCOM knowledge, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to configure systems, troubleshoot live issues, and communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders. Travel 25–50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years in SATCOM/RF/aerospace communications or similar customer-facing roles.
• Hands-on experience with satellite terminals, modems, RF systems, or satellite networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer demonstrations of SATCOM terminals across commercial, government, aerospace, and defense markets.
• Plan, configure, and execute live demonstrations, field evaluations, and proof-of-concept activities.
• Travel to customer sites, test ranges, and industry events to support demonstrations and technical engagements.
• Develop demonstration scenarios highlighting performance metrics, network capabilities, and mission-relevant use cases.
• Serve as the primary technical lead during customer evaluations and resolve issues during demonstrations.
