Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Technical Trainer to bridge engineering and operator teams for a space command-and-control program. You will design, develop, and deliver hands-on training and operating procedures at customer sites to ensure proficiency and mission readiness.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership communication, TS/SCI eligibility with upgrade capability, and experience turning complex technical work into accessible training content within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; multiple degree levels considered with experience.
• Two years orbital analysis and space operations experience.
• Experience communicating with all levels of leadership.
• Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and maintain clearance.
• Experience developing training materials including certification content.
• Hands-on training experience with workshops relevant to environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail- and process-oriented with ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides subject matter and program expertise to operator stakeholders at work locations to answer questions, assist with procedures, and provide proficiency on‑the‑job training.
• Offers operator perspectives to development and training teams to ensure operator needs are understood.
• Supports exercises using the program, coordinating and troubleshooting among all stakeholders to meet exercise goals.
