Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a SATCOM IP Network Support Analyst at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, in a 24/7 operational role supporting ESGS. You will handle IP network and SATCOM configurations, ticketing, and real-time monitoring in a rotating shift environment.

Qualified candidates have 2–4 years of experience, a High school diploma, and a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification. Secret clearance is required to obtain/maintain. The role offers extensive training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years in relevant experience; SATCOM background prioritized.
• Experience with iDirect/Linkway/EBEM hubs is important.

Responsibilities

• Create and update tickets using designated ticketing applications to aid in customer problem tracking and resolution.
• Monitor network events and element management failures in real-time on a 24x7x365 basis.
• Perform IP network support, including the configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and voice equipment.
• Perform IP satellite modem support, including configuration and issuance of option/boot/RSP files.
• Remotely access and de-access customers into the IP/SATCOM networks.
• Work with gateway facilities and deployed operators to troubleshoot and resolve SATCOM and IP network issues.
• Verify equipment is operating in the baseline configuration.
• Remotely provide global equipment configurations utilizing the Satellite Access Authorization (SAA) and Gateway Access Authorization (GAA).
