Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring seeks motivated SAT Math section tutors for in-person assignments in Livingston, NJ and surrounding communities. Tutors will work with high school students in grades 9-12 at a local learning center.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years tutoring or teaching the Digital SAT Math section, and strong communication skills. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, with hours often between 2 PM and 8 PM on weekdays and 10 AM

Company: TPAPT Chapter, Millburn, NJ

Tests: SAT Math

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $50-$60/hr

Location of Tutoring: Established Local Learning Center

The Position:

• Provide in-person tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are typically 60 minutes
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable
• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 2PM and 8PM EST during the week and between 10am - 4pm on weekend days

Requirements

• 4-12 hours per week of availability
• Earned Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching the Math section of the Digital SAT
• Strong past test scores
• Exceptional communication skills
• A passion for helping others learn
