Job summary

TPAPT in Livingston, NJ seeks motivated SAT Math tutors to work with high school students at a local learning center.

Sessions are typically 60 minutes, 4–12 hours weekly, with scheduling between 2 PM and 8 PM EST on weekdays and 10 AM to 4 PM on weekend days. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of Math tutoring or teaching SAT are required, along with strong scores and excellent communication.

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is seeking motivated and engaging SAT section specialist tutors for assignments with students in grades 9-12 in Livingston, NJ and surrounding communities.

Company: TPAPT Chapter, Millburn, NJ

Tests: SAT Math

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $50-$60/hr

Location of Tutoring: Established Local Learning Center

The Position:

• Provide in-person tutoring to students in grades 9-12

• Tutoring assignments are typically 60 minutes

• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable

• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 2PM and 8PM EST during the week and between 10am - 4pm on weekend days

• 4-12 hours per week of availability
• Earned Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching the Math section of the Digital SAT
• Strong past test scores
• Exceptional communication skills
• A passion for helping others learn
