Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is seeking motivated SAT Reading/Writing section tutors for assignments with high school students in Livingston, NJ and surrounding communities. Tutors will provide in-person sessions typically 60 minutes, with schedules mainly from 2PM to 8PM on weekdays and 10AM to 4PM on weekends.

Requirements include earned Bachelor's Degree, 2+ years of tutoring or teaching the Digital SAT Reading/Writing, strong test scores, and

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is seeking motivated and engaging SAT section specialist tutors for assignments with students in grades 9-12 in Livingston, NJ and surrounding communities.

Company: TPAPT Chapter, Livingston, NJ

Tests: SAT Reading/Writing

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $50-$60/hr

Location of Tutoring: Established Local Learning Center

The Position:

• Provide in-person tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are typically 60 minutes
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable
• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 2PM and 8PM EST during the week and between 10am - 4pm on weekend days

Requirements

• 4-12 hours per week of availability
• Earned Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching the Reading / Writing section of the Digital SAT
• Strong past test scores
• Exceptional communication skills
• A passion for helping others learn
