Job summary

Ian Martin Group is seeking SAT testing staff for multiple administrations at Seattle Pacific University and Tacoma Community College. No prior testing experience is required as full, paid training is provided.

Roles include proctoring, technology monitoring, and hall/room oversight across two site locations in Seattle and Tacoma. Shifts are on Saturdays with AM-only ($250) or AM+PM ($400) options plus a $25 online training payment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
No prior SAT tutoring experience required; training provided.
Comfortable supporting students and following detailed instructions.
Able to manage groups and assist with hands-on tasks.
Have access to a laptop/tablet and smartphone for check-in.
Must be available for mandatory Friday training and full Saturday shift.
Reliable transportation to both sites.
Able to help move desks and chairs if needed.

Responsibilities

Proctor: manage a testing room, verify IDs, read and follow test instructions, monitor students, report issues.
Technology Monitor: provide on-site tech support, check device readiness, troubleshoot connectivity, support test-day operations.
Hall/Room Monitor: help with room setup, student check-in, direct traffic, support breaks, report concerns to Test Coordinator.
