You’ll fit right in if you have experience in education, student services, retail, customer service, events, hospitality, restaurants, or airline services. Camp counselors, lifeguards, community volunteers, sports team organizers, and college students are also encouraged to apply.
We’re looking for dependable people who are comfortable supporting students, following instructions, managing groups, and helping with hands‑on tasks.
No prior testing experience is required. We provide full training, and you’re paid for it.
Available shifts depend on the testing schedule and staffing needs at each site. We confirm your hours and pay before you accept, so there are no surprises.

Complete the required 1-hour Test Day Toolkit training during onboarding. You’ll earn a one-time $25 payment the first time you complete it.

We give priority to applicants who live within about 20 miles of at least one of these sites, with a commute of about 30 minutes or less. You must have reliable transportation for both Friday evening training and the early Saturday start. Please factor in traffic when you check your travel time.
You’ll take on one of these roles based on site needs. Your role may change on test day.

We’re also building a pool of qualified staff for future SAT administrations. Staff who perform well and remain in good standing may be invited to support additional testing dates, with opportunities expected through 2028, depending on site needs and future schedules.
Applying or joining the staff pool does not guarantee an assignment. If your preferred site is fully staffed for a date, we may consider you for another nearby site or a future administration. We’ll contact you when a suitable opportunity becomes available.
