Qualifications

• Valid West Virginia teacher certification or licensure required.
• Experience with Student Assistance Team (SAT) and credit recovery preferred.
• Familiarity with maintaining records and data for referrals.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and organize SAT meetings with at-risk students, parents, and staff.
• Review data, identify interventions, and ensure referral files are complete.
• Collaborate with teachers, admins, and counselors to identify credit recovery needs.
• Monitor weekly progress in credit recovery and report updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee the Schools PLP program for junior and senior credit recovery.
• Assist SAT members, principals, and parents in interpreting data for referrals.
• Schedule SAT meetings and notify members and parents.
• Maintain official SAT records and documentation of meetings and outcomes.
• Track completion of credit recovery requirements.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and stakeholders as needed.
• Summarize meeting discussions for accurate records.
• Maintain a comprehensive SAT log of all meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal.
• Participate in professional development for SAT and Schools PLP.
