Job summary

Applitrack seeks a Paraprofessional - Campus/ Instructional Assistant to support a credit recovery teacher by monitoring class activity, attendance, and student coursework in assigned periods.

This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Principal and begins as soon as possible. Requires Teacher Educator Certificate - Educational Aide, basic computer skills, and strong organizational and communication abilities. Proficiency with Edgenuity is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold Teacher Educator Certificate - Educational Aide.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead credit recovery teacher with daily in-class tasks and monitoring.
• Answer student questions about Edgenuity and coursework.
• Help students navigate the online tools provided by Edgenuity.
• Communicate regularly with students' counselors about progress.
• Be prepared to lead the class when the lead teacher is absent, under supervision of a substitute.
• Maintain a positive, orderly classroom and monitor student activity online.
• Track student progress and coordinate with teachers and counselors daily.
• Collaborate with the credit recovery teacher to check progress in each class.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
