Job summary

Boulder Valley School District is seeking a Sapp Student Sponsor-Stage Tech at Nevin Platt Middle to direct the Stage Tech activity and coordinate student engagement. This position reports to the building principal and requires after-school availability and strong leadership skills.

The role involves organizing and supervising the Stage Tech activity, setting directions, and monitoring student eligibility and academic progress.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Complete and submitted BVSD online application.
• Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English.
• Preferred: available after school, evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of all aspects of high school activity programming.
• Proven leadership qualities and successful experience in working with middle school students.

Summary:

Directs the activity and coordinates a program which allows students to develop their interests. The Activity Sponsor for the program reports to the building principal.

Salary Information:

Salary Placement varies according to experience and education.

*Pay range listed above is for employees newly hired to BVSD or current BVSD employees that are new to the employee group (existing employees currently in this unit please refer to the pay range on the appropriate salary schedule). BVSD engages in a salary placement process vs. a salary negotiation process.
