Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior SAP architect to lead the technical architecture for SAP custom development and extensibility, focusing on Clean Core, ABAP Cloud, and BTP. You will guide modernization efforts, sign-off architectures, and collaborate with global delivery teams while engaging senior client stakeholders.

This role requires 8+ years in SAP development (S/4HANA ABAP), 5+ years with BTP, and strong leadership in a consulting environment.

Qualifications

8+ years experience developing SAP with S/4HANA ABAP and ABAP Cloud.
5+ years experience with SAP BTP tools and services.
4+ years data modeling using CDS, AMDP, OData or related.
4+ years SAP custom development using Fiori-first and Clean Core with BTP side-by-side.
3+ years in a technical leadership role (code reviews, architecture sign-offs).
Experience in Chemicals & Natural Resources industries.
Consulting/advisory experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience).

Responsibilities

Own the technical architecture for SAP custom development and extensibility.
Provide thought leadership on ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, Generative AI Hub, and SAP Business AI.
Lead the transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; govern code remediation and upgrade stability.
Plan and conduct architecture and design workshops; own code reviews and architecture sign-offs.
Support pursuits, estimation, and solution shaping; present to client architects and C-suite; travel as needed.
