We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Technical Lead with deep hands-on expertise in SAP ECC development and integration to lead the SAP-side implementation of a major enterprise integration initiative.

About the Role

This role will focus on integrating order management and supply chain data (including schedule agreements, contracts, forecasts, deliveries, and inventory) from SAP ECC into Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud via MuleSoft, with SAP serving as the primary data source. The ideal candidate will be responsible for SAP deliverables such as IDoc configuration, BAPI/function module enhancements, RFC setup, CPI monitoring, and coordination with business and integration stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP ECC development and integration efforts, including enhancements to IDocs (e.g., ORDER05, DELFOR02, DELVRY07) and custom order types (e.g., ZE14, LZM, TAM).
• Design and develop ABAP components: Function Modules, BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, custom reports, and forms.
• Configure ALE, partner profiles, RFC destinations (SM59), and distribution models for seamless SAP integrations.
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust SAP technical solutions.
• Map ECC tables (VBAK, VBAP, LIKP, VBBE, etc.) to IDoc segments, including custom fields and validations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration flows using SAP CPI/PI/PO and tools such as WE02, WE05, and WE19.
• Lead end-to-end SAP project delivery from design through go-live and support.
• Mentor junior consultants and coordinate work across global delivery teams.
• Handle incident management, change requests, and performance tuning.
• Prepare technical documentation, integration specs, and training materials.
• Uphold SAP best practices and ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of SAP ECC technical experience, with at least two full-cycle implementations.
• Strong skills in ABAP, IDoc enhancements, BAPI, RFCs, ALE, and data conversion techniques (BDC, LSMW).
• Experience with SAP CPI or PI/PO for integration monitoring and support.
• Solid functional understanding of SAP modules: SD, MM, PP, FI and integration touchpoints.
• Proven leadership experience managing SAP technical teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with SAP tools such as SE80, SE11, ST22, SM59, WE19, etc.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in global, cross-functional delivery environments.
