Job summary
BU Consultants is seeking an experienced SAP Data & Analytics Platform Consultant / Architect to support a strategic technology planning engagement for a global pharmaceutical client. The role will assess the SAP data/analytics landscape and its integration with Databricks Lakehouse, identify gaps, and recommend improvements aligned with the target-state data platform architecture.

Qualifications
- Experience with SAP BW/BW4HANA, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Strong understanding of SAP data architecture, modeling, extraction and integration patterns.
- Experience integrating SAP data platforms with Databricks or similar cloud Lakehouse platforms.
- Ability to conduct technical architecture assessments and gap analyses.
- Excellent communication skills to work with enterprise architects and data platform teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess SAP Analytics Cloud, BW, and Datasphere usage and configurations.
- Evaluate data flows between SAP platforms and Databricks Lakehouse.
- Identify gaps in architecture, configuration, integration, performance and scalability.
- Propose improvements and target-state design considerations.
- Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
