Job summary
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a SAP HCM/Payroll Data Mapping Consultant to analyze legacy HR data, map to SAP ECP structures, and validate converted datasets for testing and production use. You will collaborate with payroll teams, data conversion developers, and legacy SMEs to ensure accurate transformations and traceability.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with SAP HCM Payroll and/or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Deep understanding of SAP HCM/ECP payroll data structures, fields, and logic.
- Experience supporting data mapping and conversion activities for SAP HCM or SAP ECP implementations.
- Ability to interpret legacy HR/payroll data and determine proper representation within SAP.
Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy HR and payroll data, mapping source fields to SAP ECP structures.
- Develop and document detailed source‑to‑target mapping specifications.
- Collaborate with legacy SMEs to understand data definitions and business rules.
- Define transformations, value mappings, and conversion rules for payroll data.
- Identify data quality issues and advise on functional decisions.
- Partner with data conversion developers to translate mappings into conversion logic.
- Review and validate converted data in iterative conversion cycles.
- Support data readiness activities for testing, parallel payroll, and cutover.
