Job Title: SAP SRM/Ariba Techno-Functional Consultant - W2 Only - We can provide sponsorship

Duration: Long Term

Location: Chicago, IL – Remote

Must Have: SAP SRM, SAP Ariba, SAP MM, Techincal experience, S/4 HANA.

Description:

• This role will be responsible for supporting the Phase 0 analysis for applications in R&D FinOps that integrate with SAP/SRM.
• The SAP-SRM/ Ariba Technical Lead/BSA would be responsible for reviewing the design, development, and implementation of the overall architecture of an SAP-SRM and Ariba solution within R&D. They would ensure, the current design aligns with business needs by considering factors like scalability, security, integration with other systems, and the entire "source-to-pay" procurement process across sourcing, contracting, and purchasing functions within the SAP-SRM and ARIBA platform.

Required Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of the entire SAP-SRM and Ariba suite, including sourcing, contracting, procurement, supplier management, and spend analytics
• Ariba Network Ariba Buying and Invoicing Ariba Catalogs Ariba Contracts Ariba Sourcing Ariba Supplier
• Lifecycle and Performance Ariba Integration (CIG, Webservices)
• Applications integration with non-ERP systems SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA, and Ariba-specific parameters, programs, and other functions
• SAP CIG add-on configuration (global settings, AN integration, and master data integration)
• Project Leadership: Lead the technical implementation of SAP-SRM and Ariba projects, including managing development teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring project deliverables are met.

Additional Required Responsibilities:

• Understand the landscape of the applications in the R&D FinOps domain that have integrations with SRM and determine impact of the SRM replacement.
• Expand Ariba knowledge to learn more applications such as Tonkean, Coupa and how they integrate with our R&D systems because of Project Genesi
• Meet with Business stakeholders to understand current workflows and integrations with SAP/SRM.
• Create workflows of the existing processes and document the gaps with the new processes.
• Work with the Robotic Process Automation team to collaborate on any BOTS that may be impacted as part of the SAP SRM replacement.

Everyday BAU Support:

• The person in this position will perform and/or coordinate day-to-day activities to meet departmental/project objectives.
• Carry out root/cause analysis on more complex problems. Supplement the application suppler team in minor demand management, production incident management and design, develop, and implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• 3 to- 8 years of experience working with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA MM procurement-related configuration 3 years of experience in setup of one or more SAP-SRM and Ariba modules 3 years of technical experience with SAP-SRM and Ariba Integration 3 years of experience working with current SAP Ariba configuration
• Comprehensive knowledge of most common source-to-pay processes and how Ariba and SAP SRM can support Functional and technical understanding of MM module, plus its relationship with other modules (especially FI). Experience with at least one global rollout of SAP-SRM and/or Ariba that included the Americas, EMEA, and Asia SAP Ariba Integration Certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design:
• Understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and invoice management.
• Analyze business requirements, identify pain points, and create a comprehensive SAP-SRM and Ariba solution architecture that addresses those needs, including system integration with other enterprise applications.
• Technical Expertise:
• Possess in-depth knowledge of SAP-SRM and Ariba functionalities, including modules like Sourcing, Contract Management, Procurement, Supplier Management, Spend Analytics, and the underlying technical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with SAP technical architecture, data models, and integration technologies like APIs, web services, and middleware.
• Understanding of Data and with knowledge or exposure of PL/SQL.
• Possess good Knowledge of Salesforce
• Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize SAP Ariba to match specific business processes and workflows, including user interface design and data mapping.
• Integration Management: Design and implement integration points between SAP Ariba and other systems like ERP (SAP ECC or S/4HANA), CRM, and other third-party applications.
