CALYPSO

Core responsibilities

• Production support (Level 1 and Level 2)

Serve as the primary point of contact for calypso production issues, providing front to back support across asset classes including FX Options, Rates, Commodities, Mortgages and Fixed Income.

Monitor system health and respond to alerts and incidents.

• Custom development and API integration

Design, develop and maintain custom components and extensions using calypso APIs. Work closely with development teams to implement solutions that meet evolving business and operational requirements.

• Environment management

Setup, configure, maintain non-production environments (development, QA, UAT) to support testing, development and release activities. Ensure environment stability, consistency, and readiness for project and support needs.

• Release and deployment management

Oversee the full lifecycle of production deployments including monthly scheduled releases and urgent patches. Ensure all changes are thoroughly tested, documented, and deployed with minimal risk to production stability.

• Cloud infrastructure support

Leverage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch to support infrastructure operations. Monitor system performance, manage cloud resources, and contribute to infrastructure optimization and automation efforts.

• Batch operations and on-call support

Provide after-hours and weekend support for batch processing and critical system operations. Monitor batch jobs, proactively address failures, and ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain uninterrupted service.

Location: Remote

Salary: $110K - $130K per annum
