Job description

Title: Sap Plant/Maintenance with SAP EAM or SAP SM or SAP PS

Type of Hire: Contract to Hire

Location: Houston, Downtown

Onsite: 3 days office (Mandatory) and 2 days remote. (No exceptions)

Job Description:

• Contribute to the implementation and execution of the SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance processes: assess current state, identify customer requirements and define future state and/or business solution.
• Transform detailed requirements into complete detailed systems design documents and implement in SAP.
• Capture business capability requirements, functional requirements, and expected service levels from business unit. Create EAM solutions that map to an actionable business-IT roadmap.
• Support BU leadership in identifying opportunities for emerging technologies, through collaboration with EAM architect, to enable business strategies.
• Ensure business and functional requirements are maintained throughout the development/configuration process.
• Maintain strong understanding of technology needs and solutions for the business units.
• Liaison between the client, vendors, project management and the technical team on questions, issues, and revisions to the solution architecture.
• Manage engagement risk and economics including planning and budgeting; manage accounts receivable; define deliverable content; ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from business owners.
• Guide complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions and validate fit/gap analysis and design decisions.
• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
