Job summary

Veolia North America is offering a project-based internship focused on integrating AI and chatbot features into SAP support processes. You will work at the intersection of SAP, ServiceNow, Compucom, and Veoliachat to analyze helpdesk data and build self-service options aimed at deflecting repetitive tickets.

Your day-to-day includes exploring Veolia WaterTech’s ServiceNow and VeoliaChat environments, learning SAP foundations, and driving a structured project to deliver an automated self-service

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field.
• Strong interest or hands-on experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, ML basics or data analysis.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and ability to translate technical steps into user guides.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy conversational workflows within ServiceNow or Compucom portal to resolve SAP inquiries automatically.
• Analyze historical ServiceNow logs to identify frequent SAP issues and suggest knowledge articles.
• Assist in linking SAP data streams with ServiceNow/Compucom AI capabilities for ticket categorization and routing.
• Create clear, structured knowledge articles within ServiceNow to support AI chatbot responses.
• Audit ServiceNow dashboards and propose enhancements to track deflection rates and user satisfaction.

Job Description

The SAP & ServiceNow AI Automation Intern position is a project-based internshipwhere the intern will “own” specific deliverables. The project is aimed attransforming our IT support operations by integrating cutting-edge artificialintelligence and chatbot features into the SAP support process. Operating at theintersection of SAP, ServiceNow, Compucom, and Veolia.chat you will analyzehelpdesk data, optimize conversational chatbot workflows, and build high-impactself-service options and put structure to the process for continuous improvement.Your primary mission is to leverage AI tools to deflect repetitive or how-to tickets,empowering users and improving overall support efficiency.

What your day might look like:

• Explore the Ecosystem: Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you'll explore Veolia WaterTech’s ServiceNow and VeoliaChatenvironments, identifying exciting ways to improve our digital workspace.
• Learn SAP Foundations: Receive structured SAP training to understandthe core business processes that power a global company.
• Directly Impact Efficiency: Take ownership of analyzing support trends. You'll identify recurring pain points and design solutions that save time forthousands of employees.
• Collaborate with Experts: You won't be on your own—you'll be mentoredby SAP functional experts and contractors as you curate knowledge articlesfor our AI tools.
• Own Your Project: Design and execute a structured project plan to launchand automate self-service support, seeing your work move from concept toreal-world application.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)

• Chatbot Configuration: Design, test, and deploy conversational workflowswithin ServiceNow or Compucom portal to help resolve routine SAP inquiriesautomatically.
• Ticket Data Analysis: Review historical ServiceNow logs to uncover frequentSAP technical issues, user bottlenecks, and root causes. Suggest knowledgearticles to be created across all modules and facilitate editing / review by SAPteam members.
• AI Tool Integration: Assist in linking SAP data streams withServiceNow/Compucome AI capabilities to automate ticket categorization,routing, and smart response drafting.
• Self-Service Knowledge Building: Author where possible clear, structured,and user-friendly knowledge articles within ServiceNow to fuel chatbotresponses.
• Metrics Tracking &Reporting: Audit existing ServiceNow dashboards andrecommend enhancements to track ticket deflection rates, chatbot accuracy,and user satisfaction trends.

• AI & Technical Aptitude: Strong interest or hands-on experience with AI tools,prompt engineering, machine learning basics, or data analysis.

• Soft Skills: Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working bothindependently and in collaborative team settings.

Skill you should expect to develop:

• ServiceNow & ITIL Mastery: We will train you on the ServiceNow platform andITIL ticket lifecycles, turning your interest into professional expertise.
• Enterprise SAP Exposure: You will develop a fundamental understanding ofthe enterprise SAP application and the business processes it supports.

Commitment: 3 month long internship from May-August 2027
