Job summary

Veolia is seeking a motivated Logistics & Procurement Intern to join our Global Logistics Procurement team. This role offers hands-on experience in data-driven decision-making, vendor lifecycle management, and procurement strategy within a fast-paced, global corporate environment.

You will help ensure the right products reach the right place at the right time, while learning supplier negotiation, shipping route optimization, and cost management. Summer 2027, full-time.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
• Strong Google Workspace skills (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive).
• Experience or knowledge of Tableau for data visualization, dashboards, and analysis.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in data entry, reporting, and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain concepts clearly to team members.
• Proactive, adaptable to changing priorities, able to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.
• Full-time availability for Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Logistics Analytics: gather, clean, and interpret supply chain data to generate performance reports and insights.
• Bid Management: assist in RFQ/RFI preparation, documentation, and organization.
• Vendor Lifecycle: manage vendor creation and profiles within ERP and procurement systems.
• Quoting & Rate Desk: assist in transport quoting by coordinating with internal stakeholders and carriers.
• Process Support: contribute to continuous improvement by maintaining documentation and identifying efficiencies.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Intern to join our Global Logistics Procurement team.

This role offers aunique opportunity for a student currently pursuing studies in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Procurement to gain hands-on experiencewithin a fast-paced, global corporate environment. You will support our category management team in data-driven decision-making,vendor lifecycle management, and procurement strategy execution.

As our Logistics & Procurement Intern, you’ll be at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ll help ensure that the rightproducts get to the right place at the right time—while learning how to negotiate with suppliers, optimize shipping routes, andmanage costs. Your work will directly support our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers and partners.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Logistics Analytics:Assist in gathering, cleaning, and interpreting supply chain data to generate performance reportsand operational insights.
• Bid Management:Support the procurement team in the preparation, documentation, and organization of Requests forQuotes (RFQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Vendor Lifecycle:Manage the vendor creation process, including setup and maintenance of profiles within our ERP andprocurement systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Quoting & Rate Desk:Assist in the logistics transport quoting process by liaising between internal stakeholders andcarriers to secure timely and competitive rate options.
• Process Support:Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by maintaining documentation and identifyingefficiencies in day-to-day procurement tasks.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Education:Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a closelyrelated field.
• Google Workspace:Strong capabilities in Google Workspace applications (Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive).
• Data Proficiency:Demonstrated experience or strong working knowledge of Tableau for data visualization,
• dashboarding, and analysis.
• Detail-Oriented:Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for accuracy in data entry, reporting, anddocumentation.
• Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly to teammembers.
• Soft Skills:Proactive, adaptive to changing priorities, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in acollaborative team environment.
• Full-time availability for Summer 2027.

• The compensation range is tied to the market for similarly bench-marked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $18.80-$20.91USD
