Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Cleveland, Ohio seeks an experienced SAP Security & GRC Functional Lead to oversee security and governance of SAP environments (S/4HANA, ECC, EWM) from corporate headquarters. This full-time, hybrid leadership role reports to the security and IT teams.

You will lead an offshore SAP Security support group, design roles and access, drive remediation, support audits, and collaborate with cybersecurity and functional teams to ensure secure, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP Security experience, including lead or senior consultant roles.
• Experience managing offshore or distributed teams.
• Deep SAP GRC Access Control experience, including ARA/ARM/EAM.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore SAP Security support team and provide day-to-day direction.
• Own SAP Security strategy across S/4HANA, ECC, and EWM environments.
• Escalation point for complex security, authorization, and access issues.
• Oversee SAP roles, authorizations, user provisioning, and security administration.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause resolution of security issues including production escalations.
• Oversee role design, changes, testing, and remediation.
• Lead SAP GRC Access Control activities (ARA/ARM/EAM) and remediation design.
• Partner with SAP functional, technical, and cybersecurity teams to integrate security requirements into projects.
• Drive continuous improvement of SAP Security and GRC processes and documentation.
• Support audit and compliance related to SAP access and SoD.
• Manage priorities and resourcing for ongoing SAP projects from a security perspective.
