Job summary

Honda seeks a Team Lead - SAP Sales and Distribution to act as functional lead and SME for SAP SD and logistics. You will guide ECC to S/4HANA transformation, manage projects, enhancements, and post-go-live stabilization, while partnering with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP solutions.

The role requires hands-on SD configuration, strong leadership, and end-to-end delivery across O2C, pricing, credit, and contracts. Onsite with one remote day per week in Greensboro, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a STEM field (see Education).
• 8+ years of SAP SD experience with full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash, pricing, delivery, billing, and contracts.
• Experience with SD integration to MM/LE/WM/EWM/FI/CO and master data.
• At least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation and ongoing production support experience.
• Leadership of medium-size teams with cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, functional specs, SIT/UAT, and SOX controls.
• Experience with SAP integration topics (IDocs, ALE, EDI, APIs) and RICEF lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP SD functional activities and serve as SME between business and IT for SD processes.
• Manage hands-on configuration for O2C processes including serialized materials and pricing.
• Support ECC to S/4HANA transformation, fit-to-standard workshops, cutover planning, and hypercare.
• Coordinate production support, incident management, and change control with SLAs.
• Drive Center of Excellence activities, SOX ITGC/ITAC, and audit support.
• Lead integration efforts for IDocs, EDI, APIs, middleware, and batch processing.
