Job summary

Maui Jim, a global eyewear leader, seeks a SAP ERP specialist to manage SAP SD, EDI, ShipERP, and Bartender integrations from a hybrid in Peoria environment. The role focuses on maintaining operations, implementing changes, and supporting new projects within a modern IT team.

The candidate should bring 3–4+ years of SAP ECC/HANA experience, SAP NetWeaver expertise, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in CS/Engineering/Economics/Management preferred.
• 3–4+ years of SAP ECC or SAP HANA experience.
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver technologies and integration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SAP SD and EDI landscape, including Sterling B2B, for operations.
• Analyze issues and suggest actions to improve systems environment.
• Perform mass order loads, mapping changes, and outputs management.
• Maintain SAP outputs, smartforms, printers, and labels.
• Support Bartender software and liaise with its team.
• Onboard new carriers and manage carrier rules.
• Support ShipERP addon and liaise with its team.
• Ensure SAP environments run smoothly and plan for needs.

The major function of this position is:

The candidate will be involved in the provision of ordinary and evolutionary maintenance services as well as support for the implementation of new projects. The candidate will be part of IT team and will work in a modern and international contest.

Salary Range: $85,000 to $95,000

1st Shift: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Flexible Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote

The primary responsibilities and duties of this position are

• Monitor the overall SAP SD and EDI landscape, including the Sterling B2B integration platform, to ensure smooth, continuous operations.
• Analyze and resolve issues and suggest actions to improve the overall systems environment.
• Perform operational tasks such as mass order loads, mapping changes, manage outputs, create reporting codes and other SD duties.
• Manage and maintain SAP outputs, including the creation and maintenance of SAP smartforms, printer outputs, barcodes, labels,
• Manage and support the Bartender software as well as the interaction with its support team.
• Onboard new carriers and manage carrier determination rules.
• Manage and support the ShipERP addon as well as the interaction with its support team.
• Monitor the overall SAP environments and ensure SAP systems are operating smoothly.
• Understand short-term and long-term technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot operational issues within the SAP landscape and associated ancillary systems.

Desired Qualifications:

As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:

• Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Economics /Management
• 3-4+ years of experience preferably on SAP ECC or FMS on HANA solutions.

Listed below are the skills preferred for this position:

• Good understanding of SAP Netweaver technologies (Java and ABAP stacks)
• Good understanding of technical integration between SAP Applications (FMS, EWM, PO, BW, BPC, BOBJ, BODS) and other 3rd party systems via IDoc’s, SCM Core Interface, RFC, JCo, JDBC/ODBC connections, WebServices, FTP/SFTP file transfers, NFS/CIFS shares
• Experience with SAP SD and cross-functional processes
• Experience with logistics and carrier integrations, preferably with either ShipERP or ProcessWeaver.
• Experience with SAP outputs, preferably using SAP smartforms and Bartender software.
• Experience supporting SAP EDI, preferably with the SAP BPT and Sterling B2B integration platforms.
