Job summary

Siemens in Texas is seeking a logistics clerical support professional to perform data entry, review SAP transactions, and manage inbound shipments. You will compile and maintain receiving documentation such as bills of lading and customs paperwork, and support inventory audits while interpreting logistics rules.

The role reports to the Logistics Manager and works with the Logistics Supervisors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely production orders and kitting.

Qualifications

• Must have good knowledge of SAP transactions.
• Working knowledge of Excel and MS Office software.
• Able to work independently yet collaborate with other departments on procurement issues.
• 2–5 years minimum experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete recurring SAP transactions.
• Monitor internal and external water levels.
• Review and provide updates on sequence as needed.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Foreman to determine root cause for discrepancies.
• Ensure items are properly kitted and production orders are completed timely.
• Coordinate daily inbound shipments for parcel, air freight, LTL, and truckload.
