Job summary

Compass Group USA seeks a seasoned Business Analyst focused on Accounting and Finance to join the S/4HANA Transformation Program in the Customer to Cash track. You will bridge business Stakeholders and the delivery team to define and support key features aligned with Compass Group’s goals.

This hybrid role in Charlotte requires collaboration across finance, product management, and IT, translating accounting needs into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst or Financial Analyst supporting large ERP implementations (SAP S/4HANA or ECC).
• Strong accounting acumen: accruals, journal entries, financial reporting in ERP.
• Familiarity with FI, SD, AR in SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAFe Agile and Azure DevOps for tracking work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document C2C business processes.
• Translate needs into Epics, Features, and User Stories with acceptance criteria.
• Support SAFe Agile, and refine Epics, Features, and Stories with teams.
• Validate journal postings and reconciliations against accounting expectations.
• Assist in defining MVP and product increments for the C2C track.
