Position Summary

We are seeking a highly collaborative and experienced

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly collaborative and experienced Data Migration Facilitator Consultant to support an SAP S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SAP data migration planning, data governance, and project execution, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. This role will be pivotal in driving the execution methodology for P2P and R2R workstreams, collaborating with both local and global teams to ensure high-quality data migration aligned with the Global Data Migration Playbook.

This position is based in Clark, NJ and requires a high degree of on-site presence, as well as flexibility for occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Methodology & Planning
• Understand and execute the established Global Data Migration Playbook and S/4HANA migration methodology.
• Collaborate closely with the Data Migration Lead to maintain and refine the work plan, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverables.
• Anticipate risks related to data propagation and provide early visibility to stakeholders, along with mitigation strategies.
• Coordination & Execution
• Organize and oversee data migration activities including data scoping, profiling, mapping, cleansing, validation, and load support for P2P and R2R data objects.
• Actively support data object owners and IT experts in executing their responsibilities; coach teams on best practices in data readiness.
• Coordinate with the core team to clarify functional/technical questions and escalate when additional support is required.
• Issue Management & Reporting
• Track defect analysis and ensure timely resolution and closure.
• Provide regular updates on progress, blockers, and risk areas using formal tracking tools and reports.
• Support audit compliance by ensuring that all data migration activities are properly documented and traceable.
• Continuous Improvement & Documentation
• Contribute to lessons learned and document Return on Experience (RoE) to inform future projects.
• Ensure all virtual meetings are conducted on-camera, with published agendas and documented follow-ups within 24 hours.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years focused on data migration in SAP environments.
• Completion of at least 4 full lifecycle SAP implementations, including data migration project delivery.
• Deep understanding of ETL processes, data profiling, cleansing, validation, and transformation practices.
• Experience with Material, Customer, Vendor Master and transactional data conversion.
  
  

Preferred Tools & Technologies

• Syniti tools (required), SAP BODS, MDG, TIBCO EBX, Informatica, or other ETL platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and project reporting dashboards.
• Experience in agile project environments and project management methodologies (PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus).
  
  

Soft Skills & Expectations

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to influence without authority, working cross-functionally in a global and multicultural environment.
• Business process acumen in retail, supply chain, manufacturing, and D2C models.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; French language skills are highly beneficial.
