Overview: We are looking for an experienced and dedicated SAP RTR Functional Analyst. The IT Technical Architect provides in-depth technical expertise & direction in the development and support of client area application systems/programming requirements and processes (e.g. new, enhancements or maintenance), in the preparation of application system specifications, and in the development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost-effective application solutions.

Location: Onsite - Waukegan, IL (willing to accept relocation candidates)

Responsibilities:

1. Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge and strong experience in Key SAP FICO (GL, Banking, Product Costing, Material Ledger and COPA), Treasury and FSCM business processes.
2. Experience in EDI integrations with Banks and other external reporting systems.
3. Knowledge of SAP FI integration with other SAP Modules like SD, MM and PP.
4. Experience in handling Month-end and Year-end close processes.
5. Ability to effectively communicate with Business users and work with offshore teams.
6. Ability to coordinate with external partners and suppliers.
7. Ability to lead Requirements gathering workshops for project scoping and estimate.
8. Ability to execute highly complex or specialized Global projects.
9. Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
10. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
11. Responsible for technical configuration/code review/solution testing, user training, hypercare support.
12. Serve as technical expert or lead projects/programs and technical staff to develop, test and implement significant new solutions. Improvements or devise new approaches to problems at the division/business unit.
13. Conduct investigation activity/research and give technical advice to the adoption or integration of new technologies and their business impact.
14. Review, validate & enhance design, conduct performance monitoring and capacity planning; install, test and upgrade releases and associated products.
15. Evaluate & recommend new software, utilities, and tools. In specialized systems (i.e. SAP) effectively set options to change the way the program works (configuration responsibilities).
16. Responsible for all project documentation delivery (Change request, testing, system validation).

Required Qualifications:

1. Degree in IT and/or complimentary business degree.
2. Work Experience – At least 10-13 years of experience in SAP FICO, Treasury and Banking process areas, preferably in the health care industry.
3. Prior management experience.
4. Problem determination (experience in root cause analysis) and problem resolution skills.
5. Strong collaboration and partnering skills.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to senior leaders.
7. Knowledge of business environment, service requirements and culture.
8. Process skills: an understanding of process costs, ability to work with Service Provider to ensure effective operations and agreed upon service levels.
9. Ability to accomplish results through others particularly by establishing relationships.
10. Ability to be firm but fair about operational deliverables.
