Inviting applications for the role of RTR Financial Accounting – Assistant Manager – German – Remote Poland

In this role, you will manage and oversee financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

· Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

· Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts to the general ledger.

· Prepare and review financial statements and reports.

· Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial reporting and adherence to accounting policies.

· Conduct periodic audits of financial records and reconcile discrepancies.

· Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to financial transactions.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial accounting.

Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills

· Fluency in German and a strong command of English

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

· Relevant years of experience in RTR

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software

· Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

· Proven experience in financial accounting

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification

· Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

· Experience working in the retail industry / with retail clients

· Knowledge of additional languages
