Job summary

Real Staffing is seeking a SAP Purchasing Specialist/Buyer in Santa Clara, CA to support a medical device company through significant product and engineering changes. The role focuses on SAP procurement, supplier coordination, and ECO support to manage increased purchasing demand.

The candidate will handle PO creation in SAP S/4HANA, RFQ generation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure procurement readiness for design updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience.
• Hands-on experience using SAP, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders.
• Experience generating and tracking RFQs.
• Strong supplier communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing and procurement activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Create, modify, and release purchase orders in SAP.
• Coordinate supplier quotations, expedites, and order status updates.
• Support ECOs and engineering changes through purchasing workflows.
• Track open orders and ensure procurement readiness for design updates.
