Herdt Consulting, Inc. seeks an experienced SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Functional Consultant to support a large-scale federal SAP S/4HANA program.

The role emphasizes complex contract management, invoice entitlement, and translating procurement and regulatory requirements into SAP configurations and testing. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of SAP P2P/MM experience, hands-on configuration and testing, and familiarity with FAR/DFARS and federal contracting.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP P2P and MM.
• Experience with SAP Ariba Business Network.
• Hands-on SAP configuration and testing experience.
• Federal or public-sector SAP procurement experience (Navy preferred).
• Knowledge of federal procurement and financial guidance, including FAR, DFARS, FMR, DCMA, and DFAS requirements.
• Experience translating federal contracting or procurement requirements into SAP solutions.
• Experience with SAP integrations and technologies such as OData, IDoc, XML, APIs, and/or SAP BTP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and fit/gap analysis skills.

Position Overview

Herdt Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Functional Consultant to support a large-scale federal SAP S/4HANA program. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP MM and procurement experience, including Complex Contract Management andInvoice Entitlement,along with knowledge of federal contracting requirements, and the ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into SAP configuration and testing solutions.
