Job summary

iT Services 2 (iT2) is seeking a Senior SAP Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Configuration Analyst in Houston, TX, hybrid role with four days onsite and one day remote. You will lead end-to-end PTP configurations across SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA, focusing on MM, pricing procedures, and integrations with FI/AP, SD, PS, and WM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of hands-on SAP configuration experience across ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA environments.
• Strong SAP MM configuration experience, particularly Purchasing, Inventory Management, and MRP.
• Experience configuring purchasing pricing procedures, including discounts, surcharges, freight, and tax conditions.
• Ability to independently own SAP configuration, solution design, and troubleshooting.
• Strong end-to-end SAP Procure-to-Pay experience, including requisitioning, purchasing, goods receipt, invoice processing, and AP integration.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and enhance SAP ECC and S/4HANA solutions supporting end-to-end PTP processes.
• Support purchasing, inventory management, MRP, goods receipt, invoice processing, and AP integration.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Design and execute testing, support deployments, and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, AP, Operations, and technical teams.
• Develop functional specifications, technical documentation, and training materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, data quality, automation, and system performance.
• Support SAP enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

iT2 is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Configuration Analyst for our direct client in Houston, Texas.

This is a full-time opportunity supporting and enhancing SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on SAP MM configuration experience, strong end‑to‑end PTP knowledge, and the ability to independently design, configure, troubleshoot, and improve SAP procurement solutions.

Please note:

• This position requires working onsite in Houston four days per week.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

MUST HAVE

• 8+ years of hands‑on SAP configuration experience across ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA environments.
• Strong SAP MM configuration experience, particularly Purchasing, Inventory Management, and MRP.
• Experience configuring purchasing pricing procedures, including discounts, surcharges, freight, and tax conditions.
• Ability to independently own SAP configuration, solution design, and troubleshooting.

REQUIRED

• Strong end‑to‑end SAP Procure‑to‑Pay experience, including requisitioning, purchasing, goods receipt, invoice processing, and AP integration.
• Experience configuring purchasing processes, outline agreements, and recurring purchasing price changes.
• Knowledge of procurement and inventory master data.
• Experience with EDI integrations, including X12 850, 855, 856, and 810.
• Understanding of third‑party procurement initiated by sales orders and international/export‑related processes.
• Experience integrating SAP MM with FI/AP, SD, PS, and WM.
• Strong requirements gathering, functional specifications, process mapping, and solution design experience.
• Experience with unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Strong production support, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Ability to manage complex assignments independently and collaborate with business and technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree required.

PREFERRED

• Experience improving procurement processes through automation, analytics, and continuous improvement.
• Experience mentoring junior SAP analysts.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools supporting analysis, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.
