Sr. SAP Group Reporting Business Analyst
Location: MA (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite). Relocation considered; remote candidate for east coast permitted.

Join a growing and fast‑paced Life Sciences company as a Sr. SAP Group Reporting Analyst — supporting a complex SAP S/4HANA environment post‑implementation. What You’ll Do
- Lead functional support and optimization for Group Reporting, Intercompany (I/C), AR, and AP in SAP S/4HANA Cloud
- Configure and maintain consolidation processes including Group Structure management, intercompany elimination, and goodwill calculations
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions for global acquisitions and integrations
- Manage data collection and monitoring processes — including Universal Journal releases and flexible upload capabilities
- Configure currency translation, versioning, manual adjustments, and elimination rules
- Support Local and Group close processes with flexible validation rules
- Lead workshops, documentation, testing (UAT, integration, regression), and training initiatives
- Act as the primary liaison between Finance business users and SAP technical teams
- Participate in quarterly, semi‑annual, and yearly SOX/ITGC audit tasks
- Maintain workflows and drive continuous improvement across the Finance function
What You Need To Bring
- 10+ years SAP FICO experience (full lifecycle + support)
- 5+ years hands‑on experience designing and configuring Group Reporting, Intercompany, AR & AP in SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAC
- Deep knowledge of consolidation methods (Equity Method, purchase method, minority interest calculation)
- Experience with Group hierarchy setup, FS item mapping, and master data consolidation fields
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Regulated industry experience (SOX, GXP, Life Sciences, pharma/biotech preferred)
- Familiarity with GAMP and 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines
