The ideal candidate will maintain precise records and ensure materials and finished goods are properly received, stored, and moved. Responsibilities include daily shipping/receiving activities, inventory transactions in SAP, and handling discrepancies with a detail-oriented

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with experience in shipping/logistics preferred.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP/warehouse system for inventory transactions and discrepancies.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills; ability to audit inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities ensuring accurate, timely movement of goods.
• Perform inventory transactions in SAP including receipts, shipments, transfers, adjustments, and other movements.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to verify physical inventory against system records.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with operations to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely completion of transactions.
• Use SAP and warehouse systems to research inventory, shipment, receiving, and material movement information.
• Assign drivers and material handlers to doors and loading/unloading operations.
• Complete bills of lading and verify quantities and documentation.
• Coordinate returns and ensure proper documentation in systems.
• Provide responsive customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding shipments and inventory.
