Job summary

Total Talent Solutions is seeking an SAP Planner in Houston, TX, on 1st shift, with a pay rate of $30.00–$35.00 per hour. The role focuses on creating and adjusting production schedules to meet delivery targets, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize throughput and meet KPIs.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in production planning, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, and strong SAP/Excel skills.

Qualifications

2+ years of production planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP required) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on forecasts, backlog, capacity, and resource availability to meet delivery and revenue targets.
Sequence and release daily production orders, ensuring optimal workflow and efficient use of equipment and labor.
Monitor production progress, resolve delays, and implement schedule changes while addressing root causes of disruptions.
Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Leadership to meet KPIs such as on-time delivery, service levels, and lead times.
Analyze capacity, material availability, and demand to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve throughput and reduce inventory.
Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems, ensuring alignment between supply and demand requirements.
