Job Title

SAP OTC/SD Functional Consultant

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and requirements related to the order‑to‑cash cycle (e.g., sales order management, delivery, billing).
• Configure and customize SAP modules (primarily SAP OTC, potentially other relevant modules) to meet business needs.
• Design functional solutions, including functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Perform testing of SAP configurations and functionalities, including unit testing, integration testing, and support for UAT.
• Create and maintain documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs), test cases, and user manuals.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and resolve issues related to SAP OTC processes during implementation and ongoing support.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the SAP OTC/SD landscape.
• Have experience in Condition Contract Management (sales rebates, commissions and royalties in S/4HANA).

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, including its functionalities within the OTC process.
• In‑depth understanding of EDI and related configuration.
• End‑to‑end order‑to‑cash cycle knowledge, from sales order creation to billing and intercompany processing.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications for SAP solutions.
• Experience configuring SAP modules, customizing settings, and defining business rules.
• Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with business users and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve issues within the SAP OTC process.

Other Relevant Information

• Experience with multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations is highly valued.
• Knowledge of business processes within specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail) can be beneficial.
• While primarily a functional role, some technical skills—such as ABAP knowledge or experience with SAP Business Technology Platform—may be helpful.
• Experience performing pre‑sales for OTC.
